Plastic waste in Sam Smith Park
A couple of our members spent a short time cleaning up plastic waste on the shore of Samuel Smith Park, in Etobicoke. This photo illustrates a fraction of what they found.
In order to maintain the integrity and well being of all living things, StopPlastics envisions a significant reduction in the production of non-essential plastics. This will be achieved by stopping plastic at every stage: from oil and gas extraction, to product production to waste disposal.
