Embracing the plastic ban: film and talk

StopPlastics attended a great event at the Revue Cinema Tuesday April 17th hosted by TEA and Roncy Reduces to highlight the importance of replacing single use (plastic) with reusables. Popcorn and drinks were served in reusable metal containers!!!! Way to go guys. Proof positive we don’t need disposables!!! The movie, Planetary, underlined the crucially important point that people, as in humans, are not rulers of the planet. The sooner we acknowledge this truth, the better off we’ll all be. StopPlastics was there too, getting signatures to convince City Council to ban the non-essential plastic (and it’s almost all non-essential). Thanks to all who sent a postcard message.
