Spring Bird Festival

This festival, which helps create greater awareness of the importance of bird habitats, is presented by the City of Toronto in partnership with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Citizens Concerned about the Future of the Etobicoke Waterfront, Friends of Sam Smith Park and Humber Arboretum.

Festival highlights include hourly guided bird walks, children’s activities, bird-viewing stations, a live reptile and amphibian display and other educational exhibits.

Admission is free and the festival is accessible by public transit. Parking is limited.

Colonel Samuel Smith Park is a well-established bird stopover location for many species of birds along the Etobicoke waterfront.
